Jetwing Eco Holidays operates as a small team of dedicated individuals catering to special interest travelers. Nevertheless its Board of Directors include some of the most experienced professionals in the travel and hospitality industry in Sri Lanka.


Shiromal Cooray (Chairperson)
Shiromal is the Managing Director of Jetwing Travels, the main in-bound tour operator arm of Jetwing. She focuses on the day to day operations of the 'big company' but lends her expertise to the smaller Jetwing Eco Holidays. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), and holds an MBA. Prior to her entry into the travel industry she was the Finance Director of J. Walter Thompson, Sri Lanka. She is also the former Vice-President of the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) and the former President of the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO), the foremost representative body for tour operators in Sri Lanka. She enjoys being outdoors.


Hiran Cooray (Director)

Hiran  is the Chairman of Jetwing Hotels, one of the biggest chains of hotels in Sri Lanka. He has over 15 years of experience in the hotel trade and is currently President of the PATA industrial council and President of the Hotels Association of Sri Lanka. He is also a graduate of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, USA, and has successfully completed a senior management course at Cornell University, USA. He holds directorships in several hotel companies and specializes in hotel marketing, especially in the international arena. He is a keen birdwatcher and enjoys the outdoors while actively participating in the activities of the Wildlife & Nature Protection Society and the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka.


Romesh Lokuge (Director)
Romesh is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK and a Fellow Member of CPA Australia . He has successfully completed the Executive Development Institute for Tourism program at the School of Travel Industry Management, University of Hawaii. Romesh worked for a short while in the UK and is presently based in Australia.


Raju Arasaratnam (Director)
Raju counts over 18 years experience in the field of travel, tour operations and other travel related fields, having been in the field of accountancy prior to embarking on a career in the travel trade. He specializes in the marketing functions of the group and holds 3 directorates within it, including an Executive Directorship of Jetwing Air.


Ruan Samarasinghe (Director)
Ruan has been in the hospitality trade for over 30 years and specializes in hotel operations and marketing within Jetwing Hotels. In the Jetwing Group he holds six directorships. He has been involved with the Jetwing Group since its inception and has played a pivotal role in the expansion of the group. In 2007 he was appointed as the Managing Director of Jetwing Hotels.
