Visiting the world renowned Dalada Maligava, and many more historically important religious and archeological site such as the Great Ruwanweli  Stupa ,  the sacred Sri Maha Bhodi  ( the oldest recorded tree in the world)  in Anuradhapura, the capital of Sri Lanka in the 4th century BCE could also be incorporated in your programs with your consent. On your arrival, you will be met at the Katunayaka International Airport by the representative of Jetwing and accompany you to Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions at Negombo. Negombo is famous for fishing industry and it is a strong hold of the catholic population in the country, since the time of Portuguese in the country in the 16th century.

Depending on the arrival time, sessions of meditation / discussions on spirituality could be organized with the participation of an experienced practitioner of meditation or with an Academic. Duration of the session could be decided by you. Otherwise you may experience the ayurvedic treatments provided by the hotel on complimentary basis.


After the breakfast leave for Paramitha International Meditation center at Kadugannawa. Kadugannawa is 1558 ft above mean sea level, average temperature is, 29 C day / 20 C night, annual rain fall is about 2498 mm.  Kadugannawa is a mountainous region with evergreen vegetation and a mild climate. On arrival you will be received by the custodians of the institution and make your affaires convenient and fast. After a brief period of relaxation and the lunch you will be provided with an in-depth knowledge on meditation and the spirituality by the practitioners.  Evening could be spent at the library or engaged in informal discussions on practice of meditation and spirituality and their benefits to our day to day life.


Day 3 – 5

The proposed period of meditation and spiritual development. You may discuss with your practitioners in advance, on the duration of each spell of meditation and affiliated activities of your program. The Vegetarian food and the decent accommodation facilities will be made available to you during your entire stay at the institute.


After breakfast leave for Kandy which was the last capital of the country until Sri Lanka became a colony of British Empire in 1815. Kandy is 1600 ft above mean sea level. Average temperature is, 24.4 C day / 19 C night, annual rain fall is about 1840 mm. The world famous the temple of the tooth (it is believed that the left canine tooth of the Buddha is enshrined here) and the Botanical gardens at Peradeniya (the botanic garden at Peradeniya was created by the British in 1821 and famous for its massive collection of indigenous and introduced species of plants and trees) are located therein. Your guide will enlighten you on the importance of these two highlights.

After lunch proceed back to Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions, Negombo.


Transfer to airport for departure. Depending on the flight time, an excursion could be organized to Fishing villages located in the close proximity of your hotel of stay.
